Macworld predictions

Everyone seems to be doing it, so I’ll join in.

The big announcement will be, as expected, a superthin notebook called the MacBook Air. Designed as a seperate line from the Macbooks & Macbook Pros.

It’ll come with a SSD and no optical drive, and bypass this limitation with an EVDO card - limited to AT/T only, but with some kind of discount/bundle for iPhone owners.

I also think we’ll see some kind of overhaul for .Mac - and not just a small feature change. The announcement will tie in pretty directly with the MacBook Air release - perhaps some kind of .Mac storage plan, or free/paid verisions?
